We had a wonderful time at a recent TOL Mum and Baby session, and we just had to share some of the lovely moments we saw. The best part? The big smiles and happy faces of our toddlers.

It was easy to see how proud and excited they felt each time someone cheered for them. Even the smallest tries were met with kind words and claps. These simple cheers and happy claps help little ones feel brave and confident. That’s where confidence begins - when someone notices and cheers you on.

The toddlers were having so much fun throwing soft balls through a hoop. Some throws went everywhere, and some landed just right - but no matter what, they all laughed and kept trying. Over and over again, they picked up the ball and threw it, enjoying every single moment.

Why did they keep trying?
Because every time that little ball left their hands - whether it went through the hoop or missed, mums cheered them on.

And in that moment, you could see it in their faces. They felt seen. Their effort mattered. Not because they got it right, but because someone noticed they were trying.

There’s something very special that happens when a child is encouraged, even in the tiniest things. A cheer after a throw, a giggle at a wobbly step, a clap after a try - it all helps children believe in themselves.

“Watching my son light up with every cheer made me emotional,” one mum shared. “He’s still so little, but in those moments, I could see him believe in himself. It reminded me that I’m growing too - right beside him.”

It may look like simple play, but it’s also helping them grow. They are learning how to move, how to try again, and how to feel proud of what they can do.

With full hearts, thankful for how small moments can make such a big difference, because sometimes, all it takes is a little cheer to turn a small toss… into a big triumph. ✨
